Turkish Airlines will now fly to Bali from Istanbul. According to an article in Tempo.com, this decision has been made due to strong growth in air traffic demand in Indonesia. The General Manager for Turkish Airlines in Indonesia, Mehmet F. Gurulkan said that this growth has prompted for the airlines decision to add Bali as their second Indonesian destination.

Commencement date has not been revealed at this time and neither days of operation, timing and equipment to be used while the new routes remains under discussion with Indonesian authorities. According to Tempo.com, the flights between Istanbul and Bali would commence before the end of 2017.

Turkish Airlines commenced direct flights between Istanbul and Jakarta in early 2016, averaging load factors of 85% to 90% using Boeing 777 on a daily flight schedule. Turkish Airlines operates 335 aircraft carrying 33.74 million passengers annually.
